Wash Probe

The wash-probe series is designed for external needle washing, internal needle flushing, waste-fluid discharge, and residual-liquid management in automated analytical instruments. Designs can be customized for the wash-station structure, wash-fluid path, waste-fluid path, and spray-hole direction. Single-head, dual-head, multi-head, side-hole, bent, and coated configurations are available for sample-probe washing, reagent-probe washing, waste-fluid evacuation, and fluidic modules intended to reduce carryover.

Typical Applications:

outer-wall needle cleaning, inner-wall needle flushing, waste-fluid evacuation, residual-liquid handling, Wash-Station Integration, lowercarry-over

Frequently Asked Questions

Cleaning probes are used for outer-wall cleaning, inner-wall flushing, waste-fluid evacuation, and residual-liquid removal. The aim is to reduce carry-over, liquid retention, and cross-contamination risk.

Select the configuration based on cleaning-station space, wash-fluid inlet count, waste-fluid outlet count, and the cleaning sequence. Multi-head designs can combine flushing and waste discharge but place higher demands on space and manufacturing consistency.

Yes. Side-port direction, quantity, diameter, and position should be confirmed against the wash-fluid spray direction, target cleaning area, and waste-fluid recovery path.

Confirm the spray-port direction, wash-fluid flow rate, waste-fluid evacuation path, probe position, and cleaning sequence together. For higher-residue applications, consider side-port spray cleaning, inner- and outer-wall flushing, and anti-drip surface treatment.

Yes. A cleaning probe normally needs to be reviewed together with the cleaning-station space, waste-fluid tank, inlet path, and evacuation path. Provide the station layout, probe travel direction, target cleaning area, and waste-fluid recovery method.

Need a custom wash needle or wash-station fluidic design?

Please provide the wash-station space, wash-fluid path, waste-fluid path, spray-hole direction, needle count, and washing-motion requirements. Foreach can help confirm a custom wash-needle design.
